North Dakota Cloud Modification Project District 2 Operations Summary for the Week of July 28, 2008 through August 3, 2008.

The North Dakota Cloud Modification Project (NDCMP) conducted extensive seeding operations last week. In the District II operations area, including McKenzie, Mountrail, Ward, and Williams Counties, 32 flights were flown between July 28th and August 3rd. The weather pattern will change this week from a progressive westerly upper-level flow to a northwesterly flow on the front side of a ridge over the Rocky Mountains. North Dakota should see very few chances for thunderstorms and mild temperatures for early August.
