North Dakota Cloud Modification Project District 2 Operations Summary for the Week of August 1, 2011 through August 7, 2011.

Hail suppression, rain enhancement, and reconnaissance operations were conducted last week on the North Dakota Cloud Modification Project (NDCMP). In the District II operations area, including McKenzie, Mountrail, Ward, and Williams Counties, thirty-six flights were flown between August 1st and August 7th. Much quieter weather is in store for our state this week as temperatures and humidity drop significantly. Thursday looks like the best chance for strong thunderstorms.
