North Dakota Cloud Modification Project District 2 Operations Summary for the Week of August 9, 2010 through August 15, 2010.

Hail suppression and reconnaissance operations continued for the entire North Dakota Cloud Modification Project (NDCMP) last week. There were numerous days when strong to severe thunderstorms occurred. In the District II operations area, including McKenzie, Mountrail, Ward, and Williams Counties, 26 flights were flown between August 9th and August 15th. A less active weather pattern should prevail this week over western and central North Dakota with fewer chances of thunderstorms.
